The Adamed Group has presented to the Prime Minister of Vietnam its investment in Davipharm – one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam. The total value of this investment since 2017 amounted to USD 60 million, which places it among the largest Polish direct investments in the Southeast Asia region. The discussion focused on the possibilities of supporting the development of the Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry and improving the foreign trade balance by increasing the export of medicines from Vietnam. The meeting was also an opportunity to present Davipharm's further development plans, exchange experiences in creating a modern pharmaceutical ecosystem and emphasize the role of Davipharm as a leader and bridge connecting Polish innovations with the needs of the dynamically developing Vietnamese drug market.
In turn, during the Polish-Vietnamese Business Forum, organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Michał Wieczorek, Managing Director of Davipharm, presented the achievements of the Adamed Group on the Vietnamese market to date. He emphasized the importance of Adamed's investments in the development of high-quality medicines and successful integration between culturally diverse teams and organizations.
The program of the event included speeches by the Prime Minister of Vietnam, Ministers, experts, discussion panels and meetings with representatives of business and government institutions of both countries.
The visit of the Prime Minister of Vietnam to Poland on January 16–18 — the first in 15 years — comes at a special time: it coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Vietnam.
