Karolina Czekaj, PhD, has joined the Management Board of Adamed Pharma
The Supervisory Board of Adamed Pharma has decided to appoint Karolina Czekaj – Director of Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance – to the Management Board of Adamed Pharma.
Karolina Czekaj has been with Adamed Pharma since 2013. During this time, she was successfully responsible for key areas related to finance, including financial liquidity management, working capital policy and obtaining external financing for the company's development. Currently, he heads the areas of finance, taxes and investments at the corporate level. Her responsibilities also include the assessment of investment projects, identification of financial risks and corporate governance.
During her work at Adamed Pharma, Karolina Czekaj carried out the largest process of changing the Group's structure, consisting in the merger of entities, which resulted in the optimization of business costs. It introduced the first-ever process for Adamed to verify the potential of products in the portfolio and implemented standards for the elimination of low-potential products sent for delisting. Currently, he supervises one of the key projects supporting the strategic process in the company, i.e. the introduction of integrated management and strategic planning. As part of Adamed Technology, she is involved in projects focusing primarily on supporting start-up ventures in the field of medicine and healthcare. She is the Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of drEryk SA. Karolina Czekaj is a graduate of Corporate Finance at the Cracow University of Economics. He holds a PhD in economics from the Wrocław University of Economics. She started her career in capital market financial institutions, gaining experience in investment banking and investment funds. She completed a prestigious program aimed at top management - Transition to General Manager at INSEAD, recognized as one of the best business schools in the world.
