Success of Adamed Group cycling team

9 June 2016

It wasn't easy. Competition between doctors, pharmacists and employees of pharmaceutical companies was made more difficult by the heat and the route with numerous turns. Despite this, representatives of the Adamed Group stood up to the challenge. Competition began with the individual time trial on a 10-km-long route. Competitors didn't race each other as each of them separately had to ride a certain route, but it was the time, in which the stage was ridden that decided about victory. The title of the second Vice-Champion and the Silver Medal in the competition was won by Marian Omiotek. He was followed on the podium by bronze medallists – Piotr Maranda and Tomasz Michalski. Bartosz Komendera, who ranked 7th, also found himself among the top ten.

Another category of struggle was the line race. To get to the finish, competitors had to ride up to 100 kilometres. The undisputed winner for the third time in a row proved to be Marian Omiotek, winning the Gold Medal and the Polish Championship. The Bronze Medal hit the hands of Piotr Maranda.

The Polish Doctors Road Cycling Championship took place for the twelfth time already. The event was attended by 81 competitors.

Congratulations to our Team!
