The meeting was held on 18–20 June in Warsaw. It was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Academy of Young Scholars of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Foundation for Polish Science. The Adamed Group was one of the partners of the event. The main objective of the conference was to encourage Polish scientists to take up professional activity, both abroad and at home, as continuation of their careers.

Topics discussed during the meeting concerned, inter alia, relations between science and industry, international cooperation and ways to best use at home the potential of Polish scientists working abroad. Lectures were given by experts from the world of science, such as: the Minister of Science and Higher Education – Professor Lena Kolarska-Bobińska, PhD, President of the Polish Academy of Sciences – Professor Jerzy Duszyński, PhD, and President of the Foundation for Polish Science – Professor Maciej Żylicz, PhD.

During the conference, representatives of the Adamed Group encouraged young scientists to work in the company's structures. They spoke about the experiences arising from science and business cooperation in the area of R&D – and mentioned the ongoing research and development work on innovative therapies in two therapeutic areas: oncology and central nervous system diseases, conducted in cooperation with 17 Polish universities and nearly 150 experts from leading Polish universities and research institutes.
