Official visit of representatives of the Vietnamese Ministry of Health took place at Adamed

14 September 2018

Representatives of the Vietnamese delegation included, among others, Doan Cao Son — director of the National Drug Control Institute, and Tran Hi Oanh — director of the Health Strategy

and Policy Institute (HSPI) in Vietnam.

The meeting was a result of newly established business relations, in particular of last year’s investment
in Dat Vi Phu, one of the fastest-developing Vietnamese companies. It is the largest Polish direct investment in Vietnam to date. The agreement was signed
in Hanoi in the presence of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, and the President of Vietnam, Trần Đại Quang. The agreement stipulates transfer of knowledge and experience within the scope of European quality requirements for pharmaceutical production (implementation of EU-GMP) as well as an increase in the export of medicines manufactured in Poland to the Vietnamese market and neighbouring Asian markets.

During the visit, the Vietnamese delegation was shown around the modern laboratories of Adamed’s R&D department.
