Adamed becomes partner of Polish Cardiology 2018

14 September 2018

This prestigious award was presented in Krakow during the 22nd International Congress of the Polish Cardiac Society. The award was accepted from Professor Piotr Ponikowski, MD, PhD, President of the Polish Cardiac Society, and Professor Adam Witkowski, MD, PhD, President-Elect of the Polish Cardiac Society, by Dorota Ziółkowska, Manager of the KARDIO Product Group
at Adamed, and Dorota Chynowska, Field Force Manager at Adamed.

Since the beginning of its activity, Adamed has been conducting works on innovative substances and on improving available therapies. Exactly 20 years ago, in 1998, Adamed registered the first Polish amlodipine. This enabled a considerable increase in the number of Polish patients who would be able to use this therapy — from 75 thousand to more than 1.5 million people. Today, the extensive portfolio of Adamed’s cardiology medicines is available not only
in Poland but also in many countries all over the world.

Adamed’s mission is to search for innovative therapies while improving products which are already available in the market
and making them available on a large scale. Convergence of Adamed’s mission and certain statutory objectives of the Polish Cardiac Society results in long-term cooperation.

So far, Adamed has been given the title of “Friend of Polish Cardiology” three times and received the highly prestigious title of “Partner of Polish Cardiology” six times (in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016).
