National Week of Measuring Blood Pressure

This year, the National Week of Hypertension, was organized in a unique way. Ambassadors of the “Whole Poland Measures Blood Pressure” program took to the streets of six Polish cities: Warsaw, Gdańsk, Katowice, Wrocław, Łódź and Poznań to take blood pressure readings of pedestrians. At the same time, they gave out information about treating hypertension and proper blood pressure monitoring. Highlights of this event were shown on TVP Info as well as broadcast on Polish Radio “Jedynka”. The initiative was backed by students form the European Society of Medical Students and Hypertension Student Association of the Medical University in Poznań.  
The National Week of Measuring Blood Pressure was organized on May 11th – 17th as part of the „Whole Poland Measures Hypertension” program, initiated by the Polish Society of Hypertension. Adamed Group was a patron of the initiative.
