Golden Award for "Polka w ciąży"

7 June 2013

Adamed Group’s educational campaign „Polka w Ciąży" aimed towards mothers and soon-to-be mothers was run last year. Its goal was to focus on the subject of changing lifestyles and eating habits of pregnant women, the role and significance of hormones as well as infertility and miscarriages – aspects, which up to now were not easy to discuss.

For many years we have been organizing educational campaigns on various, and often times difficult subjects relating to health. As a socially responsible pharmaceutical company, we are also a partner and organizer of nationwide social programs. We are very much glad that the initiative we have undertaken was recognized with such a prestigious award – said Tomasz Leleno, PR Manager of the Adamed Group.

As part of this particular campaign, a complex public opinion poll under the banner „Polka w ciąży" (Poland’s pregnant women) was carried out with patronage of the Polish Gynaecological Society. Additionally, a series of press breakfast sessions were organized with participation of renowned nutritional specialists, psychologists and gynaecologists. The PR campaign was further strengthened by initiatives that focused on initiating a series of discussions around these topics on the internet.

The SABRE Awards - an international competition in the Public Relations industry organized since 2008 by The Holmes Group, which recognizes the best PR campaigns. Winners were announced during a gala event held on May 30th 2013 in Barcelona. Polka w ciąży is one of two campaigns from Poland that were recognized during this year’s SABRE Awards.
