Adamed wins Healthcare Forum Award

5 September 2018

The chapter of the Healthcare Forum Ranking, comprising representatives of the Ministry of Health and leading healthcare sector institutions in Poland, evaluated a record number of 230 submissions this year. In selection of the winner in the “Medicine production” category, companies’ financial results as well as innovations and pro-social activities were taken into account. In 2017, Adamed recorded more than 12% growth of income from sales and 14% growth of employment. Moreover, the justification emphasised Adamed’s special achievements in 2017 — which included primarily new investments in research and development, among others the Pilot R&D Production area in Pabianice and continuation of advanced works on fully innovative Polish medicines, as well as the largest Polish direct investment in Vietnam to date, i.e. acquisition of controlling interest in the fastest-developing Vietnamese pharmaceutical company, Davi Pharm.

The award, presented by the Minister of Health — Professor Łukasz Szumowski, MD, PhD — was accepted by Katarzyna Dubno, Director for External Relations and Health Economics. She thanked the chapter for appreciating Adamed’s achievements and declared that the company would continue its dynamic development based on innovations and Polish scientific thought.
