Adamed as the honorary host of the 14th Spring Pharmaceutical Conference

The motto of this year’s 14th Spring Pharmaceutical Conference, which took place on 29th and 30th of March in Warsaw, was “optimization and efficiency.” The honorary host of the event was Adamed Pharma.

During 2 conference days with 5 thematic panels and nearly 30 sessions, pharma experts debated on the solutions to optimize and improve manufacturing efficiency while maintaining high-quality processes and procedures with the goal to uninterruptedly deliver important drugs to patients.

The conference was inaugurated by Maciej Adamkiewicz, the co-owner and the member of the Supervisory Board of Adamed Pharma S.A. In the inauguration panel, he said:

“Effective treatment is a combination of multiple elements, and each of them is important. Environmental challenges will be of essence in the future or even in the present. We must pay attention to changing business models. Joint production may become the most optimal form of production. This is idealistic, but may turn out to be essential for the environment. In the near future, it will be crucial to combine the needs of patients with the needs of the environment.

The subjects discussed by experts during the 14th Spring Pharmaceutical Conference included: how to ensure drug security in Poland, extended manufacturer’s responsibility, industry 4.0, refining processes, digital transformation and minimizing cyber risk.

Adamed, as the Honorary Host of the conference, took an active part in the event. The participants could listen to the presentation of Martyna Strupczewska, ESG Team Leader, on pharma challenges focused on ESG policy implementation issues. Dorota Wyjadłowska, Quality Department Coordinator, raised her arguments in the subject of quality control efficiency. Łukasz Cichacki, Project Manager, shared experience regarding improved process efficiency in investment and repair management teams. Moreover, Emilia Chabros, HR Business Partner, talked about the solutions and tools used by HR Adamed to build a committed team. 

The 14th Spring Pharmaceutical Conference was organized by “Przemysł Farmaceutyczny.”
