Adamed Pharma with the Employers of Poland’s “Vectors of the Heart” (Wektory Serca) award for extraordinary help to Ukraine during the war

“Vectors of the Heart” – awarded for over 20 years by the Employers of Poland – went to Dr Małgorzata Adamkiewicz and Adamed Pharma as a company that, after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, became involved in immediate medical assistance to Ukrainian citizens.

Adamed Pharma created a space where the heart devoted to friends from Ukraine has prevailed over divisions, as emphasised by the organisers of the award. Following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, Adamed Pharma launched a range of aid activities which are prioritised towards securing drug supplies. So far, almost PLN 13 million have been allocated on behalf of the company to help Ukraine, including for medicines and medical aids. In addition, Adamed Pharma took care of its Ukrainian Associates and their families. They were guaranteed assistance of a subsistence, material and psychological nature. At the same time, support is being given to those who were or still are in the war zones.

On behalf of Dr. Małgorzata Adamkiewicz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Adamed Pharma S.A. and the President of the Adamed Foundation, the award was received by Dr. Karolina Czekaj, Director of Corporate Finance and Investment, Adamed Pharma, involved with Adamed Pharma Associates in helping Ukraine.

The distinction “Vectors of the Heart” was awarded during the Gala of Employers of Poland, which was held on 8 December 2022, at the “Garnizon Sztuki” theatre in Warsaw. The award was presented by the Ambassador of Ukraine, Wasyl Zwarycz, and the President of the Employers of Poland, Rafał Baniak
